Voyage LA Magazine, December 2016

I am a costume maker and illustrator from Los Angeles, CA. I have worked for over fifteen years in the fashion, film, television, and music industries, bringing ideas to life with creative conceptualizing, detailed illustrations, precise patternmaking, quick sewing, clear communication, and efficient team management. I love working closely with designers to bring their ideas to the visual world.

I am a member of International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Local 705 Motion Picture Costumers Union, and I am classified as a Patternmaker / Fitter. I also have experience as an alterations tailor, milliner, prop painter, and specialty costumer.

Many years of freelance work as well as a position as a lead designer at a well known West Hollywood costume shop have given me helpful skills and an understanding of garment design and construction both for one-of-a-kind pieces as well as for production manufacturing. I am a problem solver in every stage of the design process.

As a costume illustrator, my knowledge of construction is an asset to designers and costume fabricators because I understand how what I draw will be able to be made from real materials and work when worn on stage and screen.
